Scholar is SEVEN!!!!

He was my surprise boy ...
I had resigned myself to only having my 2 girls.

I love the way his eyes crinkle shut when he laughs.
I love the way he reasons things out and asks deep questions.
I love his enthusiasm.
I love the way he loves the Lord.
I love the way he shows so much interest in other people,
asking their name and other questions.
I love the way he reads.
I love the way he cuddles and hugs.
I love how patient he is with his baby sister.
I love the way he giggles when he is happy.
I love the pictures he draws.
I love the stories that he tells.
I love his enthusiasm for learning.
I love the way he is always telling me what time it is.
(especially if I'm asleep and he isn't)
I love the way he tells me that I'm his favorite Mom.
(because I'm his only Mom.)

I don't remember life without my boy.
He is my joy.

I love all of my children with great abandon,
and would be crushed to loose any one of them.

But this boy has a special place in my heart.
And I didn't know I was missing him,
until God sent him to me.
And I haven't a clue why,
or what it is about him.

He has his faults, just like any other child.
But
I do so love this boy.

And his Grandma tells me,
He's just like his Dad.
