What Scholar is Reading

Our family have always been heavy users of our public library...
so much so, that when Scholar turned 4, the ONLY thing he wanted
was his very OWN library card.

Over the past year, we've not been able to go to the library much,
so he was overjoyed to find that we had taken a trip to the library the other day - and he has a nice HUGE stack of books.

So here is a list of what Scholar is reading right now.

These books will count toward his October goals for the Pizza Hut Book-It program for a free personal pan pizza.

Most of these books are below his reading level - but since he's not been working on reading all summer, I figured we would ease him back into the routine slowly.

He LOVES science books and health books.

Sunshine is going to make him read half the stack to her ... really.  She follows him around at times with a book in hand ... "Read dis to me."

  1. Thanks for this post. :) It has renewed my vigor to head to the library. We had dropped off a bit in our library trips, too. AND I had not been aware that Pizza Hut Book-It was available for homeschoolers, so thank you for that tidbit of info. :) Now, my kindergarten pizza-loving bookworm can add another goal onto her chart.
