MINISTRIES And CHRISTIANITY

Good reminder that no matter how public a person is, you don’t own them, and you can’t control them.  Often we turn people into the person we want them to be and never get to know them.  And when they do something that doesn’t fit OUR program, we become offended.

MARRIAGE and PARENTING

When Song was very young, she was often whiny and fretful, for no apparent reason.  She cried a lot.  So I slept less, so I was more tense.  And she cried more.  Until the teen I homeschooled decided to start school a few weeks early to help out (her mom’s idea - after I sat down in church and instantly fell asleep.)
It wasn’t until a few years ago, we realized she was an INFJ, and they are high empaths.  How I wish I had known this back when I was raising her.

“Crunchy” mom learns that sometimes it’s OK to not be perfect.

Overthinkers ….  Yes, I am one.
